The entire in one app!
The app is connected to the theatre’s ticketing system (Jet Ticket, Eventim) via a live-interface. Event information (seat availability, etc.) is shown in real-time. Customers can select their preferred seat in the mobile seating map. All other information, like descriptions and images, are automatically imported to the app from the theatre’s own website. Users can see all upcoming events, browse through event information, can add events to their wish list and get informed via push notifications about future events or ticket pre-sales. Once a ticket is purchased, visitors get automated information about the event (pre & postvisit mails) and can choose between entering the theatre by showing their mobile ticket (QR Code from ticketing system included) or a print@home ticket.
One key element was integrating the U27 programme: Loved by young audiences for its fast ID validation serviceas a key to discounted student tickets. As well as Golden Agers for finally enjoying a simple-to-use, trustworthy and easily accessible digital sales channel, instead of queuing at the box office.
And best of all: Once a ticket is sold through the Josefstadt App, all transaction and customer data are automatically stored with the theatre’s own ticketing system. Making it possible to build long-lasting audience development.
