The Challenge
Bridging tradition with digital expectations
The Cleveland Orchestra faced the challenge of connecting its diverse audiences—longtime patrons, students, and new concertgoers—with a mobile-first experience. Existing digital tools lacked the accessibility, engagement, and convenience today's users expect, particularly for younger audiences and student program participants. The Orchestra needed a solution that preserved its high artistic standards while enhancing accessibility, streamlining ticketing, and fostering deeper connections.

A unified app experience powered by easy-connect
To meet this need, The Cleveland Orchestra partnered with Ticket Gretchen GmbH to build its new mobile app using the easy-connect framework. This solution delivered a tailored platform integrating core app features and a digital ticket wallet add-on, providing users with a centralized hub for event discovery, ticket purchases, digital ticket storage, and direct communication with the Orchestra. Special emphasis was placed on improving access to student programs and creating a seamless, intuitive user experience aligned with TCO’s values and brand identity.
